As a Senior Psychologist in the Prison Mental Health Services, you will provide specialised psychological assessment, intervention, and treatment to individuals within the correctional system. You’ll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support the mental wellbeing and rehabilitation of prisoners, promoting positive outcomes for both individuals and the broader community.

Your opportunity:
- The Psychologist – Senior (Prison Mental Health) provides high level clinical services and leadership within the multidisciplinary Prison Mental Health Services (PMHS) team. The role is responsible for forensic mental health care through timely and responsive service provision required to meet the objectives of the PMHS. Including delivering high level clinical and forensic psychology services to adult patients of the PMHS, providing professional leadership, consultation, supervision and clinical input utilising a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of forensic mental health, contributing to the training of staff, skill development and the development and review of training, research, policy and clinical practice guidelines relevant to the provision of psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
