Join a team of enthusiastic doctors providing high quality clinical care to patients in a tertiary care setting at The Townsville Hospital, and in the community through clinics located at The Townsville Hospital. |

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $129,583 to $150,240 p.a. (L4-L9)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The role is primarily a supporting role for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service, with the main focus on providing outpatient early pregnancy, antenatal and women's health care as well as inpatient antenatal, postnatal care and support of termination of pregnancy services.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in speciality areas and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- If appointee is not accepted into a recognised vocational college training program – employment will be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level (L4-L9).
- Successful completion of at least two years post-registration training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
