Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse in Addiction and Mental Health, you will deliver advanced clinical care and leadership for patients with complex needs, while supporting professional practice, education, and research within the healthcare team.
Provide expert clinical management and coordination of specialist nursing care in addiction and mental health, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Lead and mentor nursing staff, delegating appropriately while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and the development of risk minimisation strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
Support education and professional development through clinical facilitation, promoting evidence-based practice and lifelong learning.
About you:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate clinical nurse with advanced knowledge in addiction and mental health nursing, who can lead with integrity and drive excellence in patient care.
Demonstrated ability to provide autonomous, high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health and addiction needs.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience supporting and guiding multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Commitment to continuous quality improvement, clinical education, and research participation.
Proficient in applying clinical judgement, managing change, and using electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems effectively.
