About the role
The Child Protection Unit (CPU) Administration Support Officer provides effective administrative support to enable high-quality service delivery and safety for clients, visitors, and staff within a healthcare setting.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to work within a sensitive and highly confidential working environment with awareness of the impact this may have to self and other staff with ability to seek support accordingly.
- Well developed contemporary work processing skills with theability to process and input a high volume of data and manage databases and online portals.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, exercising sound judgement, and discretion and high levels of confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to build relationships and work within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
- Ability to problem solve, establish work priorities and meet deadlines appropriately, with minimal supervision to ensure the continuim of administrative support to the Child Protection Unit (CPU).
- Abiltiy to aquire and apply knowledge of Intermedial Medical Terminology for the proficient use internal information systems (HBCIS, ieMR) and digital capabilities including Microsoft 365 suite of programs, District Resources, S4HANA, WINC and Queensland Health enterprise solutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
