Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services has an exciting opportunity available for you to become part of a collaborative team helping to conserve and maintain the network of national and conservation parks South of Brisbane. As rangers within the South East Queensland Region you will work with other Rangers, contractors and a range of partners and stakeholders in delivering positive outcomes for the environment and community.
The only mandatory requirement for the occupant of this position is to hold an unrestricted manual driver's license; however, the ideal candidate will have:
• team management, fire, pest, compliance and asset management skills and experience.
• Sound understanding of the legislation, policies and procedures governing Queensland parks and forests.
• Ability to undertake a varied work program, including administrative work as well as various types of physical duties.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
