• This new position within our Workforce, Strategy and Development team will work closely with management and the recruitment team to develop and implement a program that supports participants in our local community with a pathway to employment in entry-level roles across the West Moreton Health Service.

• Temporary Flexible Part-time, 38 hours per fortnight, up to 12 months

About the role

The Workforce Programs Coordinator will drive the establishment and coordination of workforce programs and pipelines across West Moreton Health (WMH) including, but not limited to, entry pathways, traineeships, work experience, internships, and cadetships across all disciplines.

The Workforce Programs Coordinator will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain reliable and robust workforce pipelines with a view to supporting a sustainable workforce into the future.

This role will also support dedicated recruitment campaigns for unique or hard to fill vacancies across WMH.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, developing and maintaining employment and development pathways for workers across all streams in a large, complex organisation.
  • High level knowledge and skills in the area of relevant legislation, directives, policies, standards, systems, and procedures applicable to human resources management and recruitment and selection activities in a large organisation, and the ability to apply such knowledge.
  • Ability to develop contemporary and innovative recruitment activities contributing to successful workforce planning and management.
  • High level oral and written communication skills, problem solving/analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation, and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate ideas using effective and creative methods to engage a broad and diverse audience.
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop junior staff.
