The Digital Customer (Smart Service Queensland) team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business provides digitally enabled whole-of-government services to the Queensland public through multiple channels including phone, counter and online. This stream brings together technology, development, products, design, engagement, and operations to deliver simpler connected services.

As the Lead Content Designer, you will:
• Help introduce new services, improve processes, and support multi-channel solutions, with a focus on disaster response.
• Develop and deliver clear, engaging communication to service delivery staff, ensuring they and other stakeholders are well-informed.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team through all stages of digital service design and delivery.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce content that meets user needs and business goals.
• Design and implement content solutions that meet best practice usability and accessibility standards and guideline.
• Provide editorial review, information architecture advice and design and delivery support to cross-agency web publishers.
• Promote and support a workplace culture of equity, diversity, respect and inclusion, and proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of the Content Designer.
