About your role
As a Clinical Nurse within Mental Health (MH) Call, you will provide advanced clinical care, expert planning, and coordination for people with acute mental health concerns. You will act as a clinical leader within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and recovery-focused nursing care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and interventions
- Leading and coordinating team activities, shift planning, and clinical decision-making
- Providing expert guidance and support to nursing staff, students, and colleagues
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and risk management strategies
- Acting as a clinical and educational resource to foster a learning culture
- Supporting the implementation of policies, practice changes, and clinical innovations
About you
You are an experienced and compassionate nurse who thrives in complex, fast-paced clinical settings. You will bring:
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in mental health nursing
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and care coordination skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and support team members
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Post graduate qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study (highly desirable)
- Current credentialing or working towards credentialing as a mental health nurse (highly desirable)
