Your new role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT), providing recovery-focused mental health care in the community. In this pivotal role, you will:
- Deliver advanced clinical care, planning, and coordination for consumers with complex mental health needs.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and role modelling to nursing staff within the team.
- Support consumer recovery through development of independent living skills and community engagement.
- Contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
About you:
As the ideal candidate, you will be a committed and compassionate nurse with advanced clinical skills and a passion for recovery-focused care. You will demonstrate:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and relevant qualifications.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in mental health nursing, including comprehensive assessment, care planning, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to guide and support your team.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, and delivering person-centred care.
