Role details
The Bowen Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To work as a member of a multidisciplinary & trans-disciplinary Allied Health team, delivering clinical services to clients in the Mackay Hospital and Health Services, covering a range of clinical conditions, complexity, and age groups.
About the Team
The Speech Pathologist at Bowen Hospital works within the allied health team that provides services to both inpatient and outpatients at Bowen Hospital and Collinsville MPHS. The Allied Health team provides clinical care across the continuum (inpatients, outpatients, residents) to these sites using a range of rural models of care including in person, telehealth, outreach, and delegation.
There is one Allied Health Assistant at Bowen Hospital who supports all Allied Health through delegation practices adhering to Calderdale Framework. By delegating safely and effectively, clinicians work to the top of their scope, thereby optimising patient centred care, workforce capacity and service outcomes.
