About us:
The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service located 229km southwest of Rockhampton, is part of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Theodore is situated on the Leichhardt Highway between the junction of Castle Creek and the Dawson River. The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service is a 10-bed facility that provides a range of health serviced to the community, including emergency, inpatients and outpatients, residential aged care and telehealth services.
About the role:
Kitchen/General: Provide high-quality, efficient and client focused Operational Service Officer (Kitchen/General) support within the Theodore Health Service. This role contributes to the delivery of safe and nutritious meals, a clean and welcoming environment, and responsive support to staff and patients, in line with relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Laundry Wards: Operational Services at Theodore Multipurpose Health Service plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-functioning environment. The team delivers a range of essential services including environmental cleaning, catering, laundry, porterage, maintenance, and gardening; ensuring patients, residents, visitors, and staff experience the highest standard of care and comfort.
About you:
- Ability to organise and prioritise work commitments and to meet work deadlines within a busy environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of the team with an ability to facilitate, promote and adapt to change.
- Demonstrate basic self-management skills, including time managements, ability to organise and prioritise tasks, problem solve to assist with completing duties/tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a multi-skilled team environment who provide a strong focus on customer service.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $75,408 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $31.24 - $33.33 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading

- An hourly rate between $39.05 - $41.66 p.h. (Including 25% casual loading)
