About the role:
The primary purpose of the position is to provide specialist advice and support to the Service Groups across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services (CQHHS) on all aspects of quality and safety, quality improvement including CQHHS Quality, Safety and Risk strategic priorities and The National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, Aged Care Standards, Disability Standards and other key standards while collaborating to ensure a standardised approach across CQHHS. The primary focus of this role will be to support Medication Safety across the Hospital and Health Service.
About you:
To apply as a Nurse: You must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
To apply as an Administration Officer: There are no mandatory qualifications, though a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
Applicants should also satisfy the following:
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the identification and implementation of advanced evidenced- based skill and knowledge that applies to quality, patient safety and risk initiatives; and measures to facilitate continuous improvement and the implementation of NSQHSS and other standards and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to provide consultative leadership, direction and advice, sharing learnings to promote a culture of quality, safety and risk to promote consistent service delivery in CQHHS.
- Ability to lead, guide and motivate to deliver results, build teams and encourage initiative and responsibility while developing a broad network of contacts both internally and externally to CQHHS.
- Demonstrated understanding of CQHHS Quality and Safety Strategic direction and the NSQHSS for accreditation, Aged Care, Disability Standards and other key standards.
- Ability to manage an overall quality program for CQHHS, analyse data and outcomes that integrates key objectives from the strategic plan into service delivery across CQHHS.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $5,552 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $68.60 - $73.62 p.h. (AO7)
- An hourly rate between $66.85 – $72.58 p.h. (NRG7)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
