About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide strategic leadership and manage the administrative operations of telecommunications and paging systems across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring service continuity, system efficiency, and support for projects.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Monitor and review processes for improvement and implement changes in accordance with organisational and business goals to ensure the delivery of cost efficient, effective and high-quality telecommunications services.
- Oversee strategic planning and management of the facility's telecommunications to align with modern practices and organisational priorities. Lead and coordinate switchboard operations, particularly during emergency situations, ensuring effective communication and response.
- Manage the functionality of Spok Messenger to ensure continuity of paging services including the management of user accounts, monitoring licence usage, liaising with technical support and relevant staff on downtime to minimise interruption to telecommunication services.
- Develop, implement and continually improve training for management of Alcatel OmniVista 4760 and Amcom Messenger paging
