Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Lactation Consultant, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and family-centred support to infants and families with complex feeding needs. You'll play a key role in leading practice, education and service improvement within Logan Hospital's Neonatal Services.

• Deliver specialist lactation care and guidance for neonatal patients
• Lead education and Baby Friendly Health Initiative standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment
• Provide family-centred care including in-hospital and home support

About you:

You are an experienced nurse or midwife with a passion for neonatal and lactation care. You'll bring strong clinical expertise and the ability to lead, mentor and support both families and staff.

• Advanced knowledge of neonatal and lactation clinical practice.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and education skills.
• Compassionate, collaborative and family-focused approach.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
