About the role
This position provides support to the Finance Business Manager and Senior Finance Business Advisor in the provision of business partnering, including financial insights, analysis and advice to the Divisions within West Moreton Health. The key focus of the role is to provide support within the areas of business administration and management accounting functions. The Finance Business Partner will work closely with cost centre managers to help drive business performance.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability and skills in the effective delivery of business partnering, performance reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting functions in large healthcare service or similar complex service organisation, within required monthly timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to assist in the preparation and ongoing maintenance of budgets.
- The ability to provide accurate and timely advice on the application of relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, competing priorities, and the ability to meet deadlines and establish work priorities.
- Demonstrated Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to understand formula driven financial models and prepare data analysis and reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Highly developed skills and practical expertise in contemporary enterprise-wide financial management applications (e.g. DSS Necto, BPT and S/4HANA) and Microsoft Office applications relevant to management accounting functions.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and consultation skills within a multidisciplinary Workplace
