Your new role:

In this position, you will deliver high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a variety of work areas within Metro South Health's Maintenance Services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and smooth operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the designated work area, managing telephone and reception enquiries.
  • Supporting daily documentation, including purchase requisitions, goods receipting, work orders, and data entry.
  • Using systems such as S4HANA, MyHR, WHS Monitor, and Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and compliance for visitors and contractors on site.
  • Preparing correspondence, managing mail, and maintaining both manual and electronic filing systems.
  • Managing workload autonomously and collaboratively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining quality service standards.
  • Contributing to workplace culture, including diversity, inclusion, and equitable treatment of all staff and patients.
