Your new role:

As an Advanced Physiotherapist (Rehabilitation), you will deliver high-level clinical services across Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals, providing expert care in neurological, orthopaedic, and geriatric rehabilitation. You'll lead service development, mentor staff, and drive evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver specialised clinical services with advanced independence.
• Provide leadership in rehab practices, protocols, and service models.
• Mentor and supervise physiotherapists and students.
• Lead research, service innovation, and quality improvement projects.
• Act as a clinical expert and reference point for stakeholders.

About you:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist with advanced expertise in rehabilitation and a strong commitment to leadership and service innovation.

You will demonstrate:

• Advanced clinical skills in rehabilitation physiotherapy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and support staff development.
• Experience leading quality improvement and research initiatives.
• Ability to drive innovation in models of care and service delivery.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
