This is an exciting opportunity within the Fines and SPER division at the Queensland Revenue Officer (QRO).
In this role you will manage projects and implement and review business practices and procedures. You will support the senior leadership team to identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to efficient services and solutions for clients and the community.
To be successful, you will have:
• experience in developing, interpreting and applying legislation in a regulatory environment
• exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and advisors.
• strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and determine viable solutions.
A typical day as a Principal Fines Advisor may include:
• reviewing or creating procedures or process documents, or writing briefing notes
• collaborating with project teams and internal and external stakeholders
• interpreting and applying legislation to business processes
• preparing and coordinating reports and audits
• identifying and implementing service improvement initiatives.
