About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to Provide a comprehensive administrative and reception support service to Youth Step Up Step Down (YSUSD) Redcliffe Caboolture including responding to enquiries and providing information and assistance to staff, patients and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery within a sub-acute residential setting. Contribute to patient flow by performing a support role to nursing, allied health and medical staff.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Contribute to patient flow efficiencies on the Unit by liaising with a range of staff to coordinate appointments, resources and movements on the behalf of consumers and staff.
  • Assist with consumer discharges and transfers through timely coordination of all required paperwork, transport and updating of hospital based systems.
  • Provide effective administration support by delivering reception and office administration services that contribute to the operations of the YSUSD Unit and the Organisation. General administration duties include but are not limited to, word processing, data entry, report preparation, correspondence management and filing.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and perform duties responsibly in the absence of supervision
