As our Engagement Officer (Marketing and Research), you will:
• Assist with developing, implementing and evaluating communication and marketing strategies that influence behaviour change.
• Build and maintain strong knowledge of Queensland Government branding and style requirements, and assist with the development, implementation and adherence to the Program's style guidelines.
• Use communication and marketing best practise to assist with the development of innovative strategies that achieve measurable objectives and the Program's key performance indicators.
• Develop high-quality communication and marketing materials within tight deadlines, including print and digital advertising.
• Support the Senior Engagement Officer (Marketing and Research) with managing creative suppliers including printers, media buyers, advertising agencies, videographers, animators, etc.
• Build, maintain and improve key relationships (internal and external) to enable effective delivery of the Program's communication and marketing strategies.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to develop marketing and communication materials for a wide range of internal and external audiences and, ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Communicate in a clear, succinct and deliberate manner, adjusting the message so that it resonates with different stakeholders, and establishes strong and mutually beneficial connections.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement by actively innovating and improving strategies, processes, and systems.
• Confidently support the management of multiple projects while meeting hard deadlines and budgets.
• Identify potentially sensitive or contentious issues or circumstances that create reputational risk.
You may also have
• While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in communication, marketing and research from a recognised tertiary institution, would be well regarded.
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, etc) to develop sophisticated creative design work of a high calibre.
• Capacity for occasional out-of-hours and weekend work.
