As a valued member of the North West District, you will provide high level advice to the District Director and District Leadership Team in monitoring project and program performance in terms of time and cost, lead design and implementation of business processes for project and program management and coordinate project reviews.

In the role of Principal Advisor (Program Performance), you will provide high level advice to the District Director and District Leadership Team in monitoring project and program performance in terms of time and cost, lead design and implementation of business processes for project and program management and coordinate project reviews.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Monitor financial and physical progress of project and program delivery against established performance indicators, including reporting savings, and recommend corrective actions at the district level.
• Undertake the role of district lead of program and project management business systems; lead the design and implementation of business processes for program and project management methodologies within the District and Region and influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt common methodologies and standards for program and project health reporting and analysis to improve program and project governance, knowledge sharing and the re-use of information.
• Undertake project reviews in conjunction with district officers to audit compliance and state-wide consistency with the established project and program management processes and systems.
• Provide specialist advice to the District Director and assist the Regional Program Manager in ensuring the QTRIP development and management aligns with government priorities and the outcomes sought by the department.
• Coordinate the monthly District Program Board meeting whose role is to manage the planning and implementation of the district delivery program's outputs in accordance with the Regional Plan and Program Delivery & Operations Delivery Program Framework.
• Achieve program and project outcomes through technical expertise, collaboration and influence.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
• Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
o Must be eligible to work in Australia
o Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be
undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Desirable requirements:
o A qualification from a recognised tertiary institution in a transport infrastructure
related discipline would be desirable.
o Experience working for a large multi-disciplined transport infrastructure
organisation in a program role would be desirable.
o Current holder of C Class drivers license
