About the role
As Chief Human Resources Officer, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting Treasury's workforce and ensuring our people are equipped to deliver on organisational priorities. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role where your expertise will directly contribute to Treasury's success.
In this role, you will:
• Provide strategic direction for Treasury's People and Culture branch, ensuring our workforce is skilled, engaged, and ready to meet future challenges.
• Implement practical and innovative HR solutions that enhance employee experience, workforce capability, and organisational performance.
• Represent Treasury at a whole-of-government level, contributing to HR policy, strategy, and reform across the public sector.
• Support leadership development and workforce planning to build capability and resilience across the organisation.
• Partner with leaders to deliver expert advice and services that help them manage their teams effectively and meet industrial obligations.
• This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Treasury's workforce and the broader public sector.
What you will bring
• Proven ability to set direction, inspire teams, and deliver results in complex organisational environments.
• Significant experience in HR strategy, policy, and service delivery, with a focus on innovation and progressive practices.

• Exceptional skills in engaging with senior leaders, government stakeholders, and sector partners to achieve strategic outcomes.
