Your new role:
As a Nurse Educator at Bayside Health Service, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating education programs that empower nurses and midwives to deliver safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care. Working across multiple campuses, you will lead a culture of learning and professional growth aligned with organisational priorities and nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nursing and midwifery education programs, including Graduate and Orientation programs.
- Design, develop, and evaluate clinical training and simulation programs.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate education into clinical practice.
- Support workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
- Manage educational resources and ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives linked to education outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated nursing professional passionate about education and clinical excellence. Your advanced skills and knowledge in nursing education empower teams to thrive and deliver outstanding patient care.
Your key skills will include;
- Proven experience in nursing education, including graduate and clinical placement programs.
- Strong leadership and operational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Expertise in developing and delivering simulation-based education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to manage multiple educational projects and collaborate across teams.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
