The Director Operations, Clinical Hub is responsible for performance, planning and operations of the QAS Clinical Hub. The QAS Clinical Hub provides patient centric oversight of ambulance demand and performance across the state, efficient distribution of resources, statewide health navigation, including the utilisation of alternate healthcare pathways, and risk mitigation services for patients and health practitioners calling Triple Zero (000) in Queensland. This role provides leadership and oversight of the operations of the Clinical Hub.

• Demonstrated expert communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills with the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships internally, with external partners and other key stakeholders.
• Superior critical thinking, conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and trend/output/outcome performance data to drive performance improvement.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
• The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
• Position may require participation in shift work (including weekends) and on-call duties.
