RoadTek Brisbane Operations are seeking a high performing and innovative Project Management Support Officer to join the team on a temporary basis for up to 12 months, to support the delivery of workplace training initiatives.

RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. In the role of Project Management Support Officer, you will provide high level administrative support to the Workplace Trainer and Operations Management team. You will co-ordinate, maintain and manage records within the Operations Unit and coordinate and organise the delivery of essential administration services and information to both internal and external clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Provide accurate, timely and confidential support to the business Operations Unit teams.
• Ensure the efficient management of all correspondence so that all issues are prioritised and directed to the appropriate officer for action.
• Administer financial processes including procurement, ordering, payments of accounts, monthly monitoring and reconciliation.
• Provide support to people development processes, including onboarding and induction of trainees.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.

To thrive in this role, you will need:
• Experience in project management support.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise efficiently.
• Ability to anticipate the needs, adapt to changing circumstances, and take initiative to solve problems .
• Experience and/or an interest in supporting training or development programs.
