As Director, Policy and Programs you will lead a small team to develop and implement policies and programs for the benefit of veterans and their families across Queensland. You will work to deliver best practice policy advice to the Premier and Minister for Veterans. You will provide leadership on veteran policy issues across theQueensland Government, working collaboratively with key government stakeholders and lead and co-ordinate projects, programs and initiatives within the Queensland Government to support veterans and the wider veteran community.
To be successful in this role you will have proven success in negotiating and developing high level policy initiatives and delivering whole of government strategies and to address critical policy challenges. You will also have demonstrated experience in leading small teams to deliver strong outcomes and an ability to manage complex issues in a sensitive and fast-moving environment.
