About the role
Provide high level leadership, strategic direction, consultancy, advocacy and evaluation to direct Nutrition and Dietetic practitioners in providing quality, safe, complex client care across The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH)
Provide high level operational control with strategic and managerial focus integrating TPCH and Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) directions with the state-wide operational, legislative, research and educational elements of Nutrition and Dietetic Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Direct the implementation of MNHHS Vision, Strategic Direction and Goals and achievement of objectives and agreed outcomes.
- Responsible for strategic focus and managerial direction for Nutrition and Dietetic Services within TPCH. This includes:
- Strategic leadership and direction for Nutrition and Dietetic Services across all areas of TPCH
- The alignment of Nutrition and Dietetic Services with relevant TPCH, Metro North HHS, agency-based, governmental, national directions and professional standards.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of a strategic Nutrition and Dietetic Workforce Plan to attract and retain a high quality and stable workforce.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of those aspects of the TPCH and Metro North HHS and Allied Health Strategic Plan relevant to Nutrition and Dietetic Services as well as portfolio projects managed on behalf of TPCH Executive.
- Represent Nutrition and Dietetic/Allied Health Services throughout Metro North HHS and on state-wide, national forums, Community of Practice, committees or any other relevant groups.
