As a senior member of our dynamic and highly skilled Medical Imaging team, you will lead by example in delivering advanced, high-quality imaging services across key areas, helping drive exceptional diagnostic and treatment outcomes for the Sunshine Coast Health Service (SCH). In your role as a Senior Radiographer, you will provide clinical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff, while actively contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Your leadership will help shape a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth, ensuring both patients and colleagues benefit from your knowledge and commitment.  

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver independent high level Radiography clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.   
  • Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.  
  • Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.  Communicating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169- $137,918 p.a. (f/t) or Remuneration value up to $13,113 p.m., comprising salary between $4912.70- $5286.40 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full time, 76 hrs p.f. and part time positions, hours negotiable and Fixed term temporary full time and part time positions until July 2026).
