The role:  

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, this essential role operates in a dynamic, demanding, and complex environment and is required to support a high volume of both proactive and reactive requests while providing timely, thorough, and accurate advice, and coordination of the delivery of complex ICT program/projects activities including administrative, financial, human resource and business management services.

To secure this role you will have a proven track record in providing sensitive, confidential, and complex support to Executive Management within large complex public sector organisations.  You will demonstrate knowledge and ability to work within financial and human resource legislative requirements and use of the supporting budget, HR, and payroll systems within large complex public-sector organisations.

Additionally, you will display:

  • Proven effective consultative, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills appropriate to an environment of change.
  • Proven excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a range of activities and projects with conflicting timeframes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work within financial and human resource legislative requirements and use of the supporting budget, HR and payroll systems within large complex public-sector organisations.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve problems and work autonomously to achieve organisational goals.
  • High level analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and analyse policy, develop solutions to complex problems and provide high quality advice.
