In this role, you will lead a team of functional analysts and developers responsible for researching, analysing, evaluating, and implementing business and system improvements. You will provide expert advice on system functionality, process enhancements, and the implementation of strategic solutions to support organisational priorities.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of ICT professionals to deliver system solutions, enhancements, and support aligned with Queensland Health's strategic and operational goals.
  • Provide functional consulting, mentorship and leadership across one or more SAP functional areas, devising effective solutions to complex system problems.
  • Oversee configuration tasks, enhancements, and releases to ensure integration, risk management and adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure issues, risks and system changes are communicated and managed effectively

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Has demonstrated success in providing leadership, management and motivation to a team of ICT professionals, with a strong focus on outcomes, quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Has extensive experience as a senior SAP product development lead across one or more functional areas such as Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, General Ledger, Management Accounting, Operational Procurement, Inventory Management, Project Systems, Investment Management, Real Estate, Extended Warehouse Management or Business Planning and Consolidation.
  • Has the ability to research, analyse, prepare and present information for complex reports, submissions and strategic briefings.
  • Builds and sustains effective networks and relationships using a principled and ethical approach, and effectively manages competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Communicates with influence, demonstrating high-level consultation and negotiation skills.
