As a Senior Policy Officer, you will develop policy documents (or components to influence new models of health service delivery and achieve government priorities). You will prepare timely, well researched briefing documents, submissions, correspondence and reports. Additionally, you will utilise and ensure compliance with contemporary human resource management practice and principles including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination requirements.
Role fit:
- Critically analyse and interpret data and information to underpin strategy and policy development in health and other intersecting portfolios.
- Manage projects, preferably in a social and/or health policy environment.
- Write high-quality material, including ministerial and departmental briefings, reports and correspondence.
