Rosewood State High School is seeking two Coaches under the Inclusion stream to join our team. Our school is at the forefront of community leadership, addressing the needs of a multi-layered and diverse community through advocacy, educational, professional and social networks and services. This position is offered on a temporary full-time basis until 14 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

Your role:
- Lead and model inclusion reform/development activities, resulting in improved pedagogical outcomes for students
- Have strong Essential Skills for Classroom management (ESCM) knowledge, implementation
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development to improve curriculum outcomes for all students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and provide experience to Heads of Department positions by identifying resources and strategies to deliver outcomes with students with disability
- Play a support role in delivering the vision of the department to coordinate required programs in schools to improve the educational outcomes of students.
- Lead and support staff with student support plans including NCCD
- Lead strategies to maximise student achievement supporting teachers with case management processes
- Provide, support and coordinate case management for students that require extensive or substantial adjustments
- Provide coaching and guidance to classroom teachers in delivering teaching and/or programs including modelling best practice in the classroom
- Build leadership capacity by providing teachers with professional development and by promoting evidence-based communities of practice.
- Provide discipline knowledge and advice to school leadership teams fundamental to enacting inclusion that meet specified targets.
- Develop teacher capability and provide professional development that is needs based and provides on-going support for teachers in inclusion
- Work with other leaders to prioritise whole school inclusion agenda within the school's curriculum framework.
- Improve the capacity of school teams to use evidence-based assessment, supporting staff in the analysis of and response to systemic and student data.
- Support the school leadership team in providing professional development to the school and networks in relation to teaching and/or programs.
- Participate in relevant networks as negotiated with line manager.
