Your new role:
As the Residential Trust Officer, you'll provide high-quality financial management and administrative support for residents of Redland Residential Care. You'll ensure all financial processes meet statutory and organisational requirements while delivering compassionate, professional service to residents and their families. You will:
- Manage resident trust accounts and ensure compliance with Commonwealth and State legislation.
- Perform reconciliations, account maintenance, billing adjustments, and deceased estate finalisations.
- Coordinate invoicing, receipting, and accommodation charge processes, including RADs, DAPs, and pension payments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate resident and financial records in LeeCare and other systems.
- Conduct admission and financial interviews with residents and their representatives.
- Provide financial and business reporting support to management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
About you:
You're a detail-oriented, empathetic finance professional who thrives in a role balancing accuracy with compassion. You bring strong customer service and analytical skills and enjoy supporting vulnerable individuals through trusted financial management. You'll demonstrate your success with:
- Experience in financial administration, trust management, or health/aged care finance.
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools such as S/4HANA, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or LeeCare.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills, including discretion and empathy when working with residents and families.
- Knowledge of financial legislation and aged care compliance requirements (or the ability to quickly acquire it).
