We are seeking a specialised professional who can lead the Psychosocial Advisory Team (PAT), with significant collaboration with all business units within the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) and a range of external stakeholders including other jurisdictions to ensure advisory and systems services are delivered in an efficient and sustainable manner. You will provide operational leadership and oversight of the allocation, assessment and management of psychosocial incident notifications and complaints to meet organisational objectives. Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the Electrical Safety Act 2002 and the Safety in Recreational Water Activities Act 2011 to utilise inspector powers (if obtained), as appropriate, to assist the government in meeting the objectives of these Acts.
Our workforce needs to be able to respond quickly to new and emerging psychosocial hazard complaints. You may be required to undertake alternative duties or work in alternative locations on a temporary or permanent basis to support service delivery.
In this role you may be exposed to confronting and distressing content and OIR will support you with relevant professional supervision and access to our employee assistance program services to monitor vicarious trauma.
