Step Into Your Next Chapter:

You will be a key figure in the wellbeing of students in their allocated year level. They know their cohort and ensure they are connected to their peers and feel a sense of belonging at school. They support students, year level teachers, connect teachers and parents to maintain student wellbeing and work in partnership with the other Heads of Year, year level Deputy Principals and relevant student support services.

The role is a 0.5 FTE Head of Department role. The other 0.5 FTE can be a teaching role and will be discussed with the successful applicant.

Heads of Year are proactive, data driven and relational. They use this information and knowledge of their and can advocate for and facilitate programs to address the cohort's wellbeing needs.

They will assist students to be the best they can be through a focus on both student wellbeing and the good order and management of the school.
