About us:

CQ Renal Services are part of the Division of Medicine. Catchment area for the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) Renal Service is from Longreach in the west, Yamba to the north, Gladstone to the south, Yeppoon to the east and all local areas of Rockhampton.

About the role:

The Registered Nurse (RN) within Renal Services provides safe, compassionate clinical care, collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The RN employs reflective and analytical approaches to nursing practice, encompassing comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct, person-centred care. Through ongoing professional development, the RN progressively advances from a graduate to a highly skilled practitioner, continuously enhancing their clinical expertise and knowledge.

About you:

The successful applicant will hold a tertiary degree qualification such as a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.

  • Current nursing registration though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is also a requirement for this position.

While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Renal Nursing would be well regarded.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $121,106 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $41.73 - $53.53 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
