The Townsville Oral Health Service, part of the Women's and Children's Service Group, delivers high-quality public oral health care across North Queensland. Based in Ingham, this unit provides essential dental services to both adults and children in rural and remote communities, supported by a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals.

Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $6076.50 – $6527.00 per fortnight (DO2.1 – DO2.3).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.

About your opportunity

This permanent full-time Senior Dental Officer role offers the chance to lead oral health services in Ingham. You'll provide hands-on care, mentor a skilled team, and contribute to the strategic direction of dental services in the region. Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in dentistry and current registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
  • Registration with AHPRA and possession of a current annual license certificate.
  • Licence to operate a radiation source for Dental Diagnostic Radiography (intra oral).
  • Credentialing and defined scope of clinical practice with Queensland Health.
  • Class ‘C' motor vehicle licence.
  • Evidence of vaccination or immunity to VPDs.
  • A probationary period may apply.
