Your new role:
As a USIM, you'll assist Registered Midwives to provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care while building core clinical capability. You'll contribute to positive patient experiences, maintain accurate documentation (including EMR), and uphold safety, quality, and infection-prevention standards within our maternity services.
Key accountabilities
- Deliver delegated care under RM supervision, aligned to person-centred care
- Prioritise tasks, document accurately, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Support a safe environment through incident reporting and quality practices
- Use EMR and clinical systems responsibly, maintaining confidentiality
About you:
You are a motivated and compassionate student midwife with a strong commitment to professional growth and teamwork. You bring enthusiasm to learning and thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to high-quality care.
We are looking for:
- Current enrolment in an NMBA-approved midwifery qualification (meeting USIM eligibility requirements)
- Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and respect for patients, carers, and colleagues
- Commitment to safe, evidence-based care and continuous professional development
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills to contribute to a positive ward culture
