The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Principal Project Officer Years 7–10 Mathematics to join the K–10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch. The Principal Project Officer – Years 7–10 Mathematics is responsible for professional learning and resource development to support teachers with the implementation of the P-10 Australian Curriculum including Mathematics.

What you will do
In the Principal Project Officer – Years 7–10 Mathematics role, you will:
- Plan and develop resources and present professional development for teachers and key stakeholders to support the implementation of the P–10 Australian Curriculum: Mathematics, particularly in Years 7–10.
- Provide expert advice to Managers and the Director on issues related to P–10 Australian Curriculum: Mathematics, particularly in Years 7–10.
- Lead, manage and contribute to assigned curriculum and assessment projects within timelines, using allocated resources and involving officers across QCAA and external participants.
- Lead and participate in project teams to develop policy advice, resources and professional learning that is informed by research and data.
- Prepare briefings, correspondence and reports and other high-level correspondence.
- Liaise with government and non-government educational agencies on assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain professional relations between QCAA and key stakeholders.
- Participate in forums, workshops and discussion groups in relation to the work of the QCAA.

This role reports to the Manager, K–10 Curriculum and Assessment Unit. No roles report directly to this role.
