The Executive Director, Housing Growth will be at the forefront of this commitment, driving the design, delivery and innovation needed to increase the supply of state-owned social housing across Queensland.

Working with industry, communities and across government, you will champion new approaches to housing delivery, including enhancing design and planning for social housing, leading partnerships with the private sector, modular and sustainable construction, and delivering housing solutions for communities across Queensland.

About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, Social Housing Delivery Office, the Executive Director will play a pivotal role in achieving the State's target of 53,500 social and community homes by 2044, ensuring that delivery is both innovative and inclusive.
You will:
• Lead large-scale social housing initiatives, accelerating supply through innovative models, strategic partnerships and capital delivery programs.
• Foster collaboration across departments, agencies and jurisdictions to deliver coordinated, integrated and culturally responsive housing outcomes.
• Drive partnerships with industry, peak bodies and community organisations to unlock new delivery models, leveraging opportunities through Housing Australia and other funding sources.
• Guide procurement and investment strategies for housing infrastructure, land acquisition and adaptive reuse of existing assets such as retirement villages, hotels and motels.
• Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team, cultivating a high-performing culture, driven by purpose that delivers outcomes with integrity and care.

You bring a proven record of success leading complex programs and partnerships, and an ability to unite stakeholders around a shared vision.
Your background may span government, industry or the not-for-profit sector, but what defines you is your ability to deliver, to turn policy into action, and ambition into outcomes.
You are recognised for your:
• Proven leadership in large, complex organisations and ability to deliver results through collaboration and innovation.
• Deep understanding of housing, infrastructure or community development delivery at scale.
• Skill in navigating complex stakeholder environments and achieving consensus across competing priorities.
• Strategic foresight, integrity and the ability to inspire teams through purpose and example.
