The purpose of the Principal Advisor (Program Controls) is to work as part of the Program Controls team – responsible for supporting the successful delivery of programs and projects across TMR, the establishment and management of the review, analysis and reporting. With a focus of ensuring the consistent application of project and program controls across the extensive program of works.

We are seeking a Principal Advisor (Program Controls) to join our team for a temporary opportunity commencing ASAP until 30/06/2026.
Requirements of the role:
• Extensive knowledge and exposure to the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). This includes operational frameworks, business rules, system processes, stakeholders, and master data applicable to the QTRIP.
• Demonstrated high-level strategic thinking and ability to analyse and interpret information from a wide variety of sources to inform the development, implementation and continuously improvement of program controls frameworks, processes, and tools.
• Proven ability to form, foster, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the program management cohort and across the wider organisation.
• Demonstrates a proactive and solution-focused mindset by challenging the status quo, generating and embedding innovative ideas, and driving accountability for outcomes.
• Applies investigative analysis and perseveres in the face of obstacles, showing persistence in following up actions to resolution. Continuously seeks to streamline processes, improve efficiency and deliver tangible value to the program.
