About the role
Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Contemporary specialist-level knowledge and skills in Occupational Therapy sub-acute services within one or more areas of expertise.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment and senior management to influence a clinical or service outcome, negotiate, influence culture, innovate for clinical or service outcomes and supply strategic direction.
- Ability to independently manage highly complex clinical caseloads.
- Ability to independently apply latest clinical evidence and high-level judgement to guide the team in managing highly complex clinical caseloads.
- Ability to lead quality and service improvement activities that result in improved outcomes for patients/customers and/or the organisation.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence clinical practice through the provision of professional advocacy, including data management and evaluation.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
