Our Speech Pathology team is part of a vibrant Allied Health workforce that plays a vital role in achieving our vision of Great Care for Central Queenslanders. About the role:
- Deliver high-level assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for patients with complex communication and swallowing needs.
- Lead and develop clinical service areas such as adult acute, paediatric, rehabilitation, and head and neck services.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to staff and students.
- Drive quality improvement, innovation, and research initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, patient-centred care aligned with Central Queensland Health's strategic direction.
About you:
- You hold a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- You bring advanced clinical expertise across diverse areas such as adult acute care, paediatrics, head and neck services, and instrumental assessments (VFSS/FEES).
- You're an inclusive and supportive leader who values teamwork, learning, and innovation.
- You communicate clearly and compassionately, fostering trust with patients, families, and colleagues.
- You're proactive in service development and committed to evidence-based, quality improvement initiatives.

What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
