Baralaba State School is looking for a passionate Head of Department (Curriculum) to join our team and support the implementation of the Version 9 Australian Curriculum with a lens to quality assure and strengthen school processes, planning and delivery of all key learning areas across K-10.
This is a

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead and Inspire Learning: Drive the development and implementation of a shared educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes and continuous improvement across all year levels (K-10).
- Promote Equity and Excellence: Embed socially just practices, uphold high standards for student and staff performance, and ensure inclusive and supportive learning environments.
- Drive Literacy and Quality Assurance: Lead whole-school literacy improvement initiatives and establish strong quality assurance processes to monitor and enhance teaching and learning.
- Foster Collaboration and Partnerships: Build and maintain effective partnerships with students, parents, staff, government agencies, and community groups to support educational goals.
- Strategic and Responsible Leadership: Manage human, financial, and curriculum resources effectively, stay informed of relevant legislation and policies, and model lifelong learning and professional growth.
