About the Role  

As Head of Department - Student Services, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver on the Strategies and Outcomes of the school's Strategic and Annual Implementation Plan. A large focus of the Strategic Plan is on the outcomes of belonging measured by Attendance, Behaviour Outcomes and Student School Opinion Survey Results. You will case manage a variety of year levels providing strategic decisions. 

Your Responsibilities 

As the Head of Department - Student Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Where requested, prepare all data returns for the Principal.
  • Provide management and engagement strategies including induction activities of new arrivals, and advise on specific academic, social and emotional needs of new arrivals.
