About us:

Rockhampton Mental Health Unit Expansion | Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service

Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit (AMHIU) - we care for people over the age of 18 years who require inpatient care for treatment of mental health issues. The AMHIU is located on the Rockhampton Hospital campus and comprises of 20 Low Dependency beds and 3 High Dependency beds.

About the role:

The Clinical Facilitator – Adult Inpatient Unit is responsible for delivering and supporting quality nursing care at an advanced level. The Clinical Facilitator provides direction and support to other nursing staff while promoting professional standards of practice and conduct.

The Clinical Facilitator supports the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) with achieving the unit goals and standards, promoting quality clinical care, education, best practice, and research.

About you:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • While not mandatory, endorsement as an authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 or eligibility to apply would be highly regarded.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
