About the Team
As part of the Allied Health Service, the QCH Physiotherapy Department is a tertiary paediatric service providing high level care, based on evidence-based practice and international standards of care. Advanced clinicians are available in all physiotherapy teams, whilst supervision and governance are underpinned by the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards. Subspecialty teams provide patient-centred management, tailored to the child and family's unique needs that can be delivered in outpatient, day patient, inpatient, outreach and telehealth settings.
About the Role
In this role you will create systems to sustain high quality delivery for children, young people and families (Leader of Leaders) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
Clinical Practice
- Independently apply advanced level clinical expertise, specialised techniques and professional judgement to a complex caseload and provide clinical direction and advice to support evidence based clinical decision making and quality patient care by less experienced physiotherapists allocated to the service area.
