An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and experienced educational leader to join the team at Warwick East State School.

Situated 2-hours southwest of Brisbane Qld and 1-hour south of Toowoomba Qld in the eastern suburbs of Warwick on the Condamine River, Warwick East State School provides a co-educational primary education from prep to year 6 for 240 students from Warwick & the surrounding rural area. The school facilities are comprised of primary, special education unit and prep facilities on one campus.

The school is situated on picturesque, spacious grounds that include extensive playground equipment under shade, spacious playing fields, practice cricket pitch, multi-purpose courts & undercover play/learning area.

Warwick East State School, located in the picturesque eastern suburbs of Warwick on the Condamine River, offers a rich, co-educational primary education from Prep to Year 6, serving both local students and those from the surrounding rural areas. With a history dating back to 1850, it holds the distinction of being the oldest school in Queensland, and the heritage-listed National School building is a testament to its long-standing legacy. Your Responsibilities 

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
