About the Team
The Governance and Performance team plays a critical role in enabling the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) to deliver its objectives with confidence, integrity, and measurable impact. By integrating governance, risk management, planning, and performance frameworks, the team ensures QRA operates in alignment with legislative requirements, government priorities, and organisational goals. Through structured oversight, transparent reporting, and proactive risk management, the team supports informed decision-making, prioritisation, and continuous improvement. Our focus is on making governance accessible and practical, fostering a culture where compliance and accountability are embedded into QRA's operations, and empowering teams across the organisation to achieve meaningful outcomes for Queensland communities.
About the Role
- Assist in the drafting and maintenance of corporate policies, procedures, and supporting artefacts (e.g. Registers, templates).
- Provide guidance, training, and awareness to business areas on corporate governance and risk.
- Report to Right to Information (RTI) and Information Privacy requests, ensuring legislative compliance.
- Coordinate the intake, triage, and tracking of complaints and Public Interest Disclosures in line with legislative frameworks.
- Provide advice on complaints management and support reporting on trends.
- Monitor compliance obligations and controls, contributing to performance and assurance reporting.
- Draft reports and briefings for internal governance groups and assist with content development for presentations and awareness materials.
- Provide administrative support and perform other tasks as required
- This role reports to the Manager, Governance and Performance.
