Principal Education Officer, Student Services - Metropolitan South Region

Metropolitan South Region is seeking a Principal Education Officer, Student Services to join the team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of inclusive schooling practices, including capacity-building methodologies and the professional learning needs of specialist regional staff.
You will also provide strategic and operational advice to regional leaders on the delivery of specialist services that support inclusive practices for students with diverse learning needs.

Your Responsibilities
As the Principal Education Officer, Student Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Complex project management
- Complex stakeholder engagement
- Interagency government and non-government partnerships
- Providing advice to the Director of Student, Child, Family Connect on the wellness centre initiative drafting briefing notes and correspondence for the regional director, guidelines, protocols, service agreements.
- Stimulates ideas and innovation by embracing new ideas and innovation to inform future practice relating to the Wellness Connect Centre's
- Leads change in complex environments with effective use of change management practices
- Drives results to ensure accountable and sustainable outcomes
- Builds collaborative working relationships with a consumer outcome driven focus with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates sounds governance by maintaining high standard reporting and governance practices through risk management, compliance, drafting service partnership agreements, reviewing contract agreements, referral and informed consent and communication processes.
